The Social Choice and Market Design group develops theoretical foundations and analytical models for collective decision-making and resource allocation. We utilize techniques from economics, operations research, and computer science to design systems and algorithms aimed at efficiency and fairness.

Fair Division
We investigate division algorithms for fairly allocating goods and divisible resources based on individual preferences. We analyze equitability concepts like envy-freeness, proportionality, and general claims guidelines.
School Choice
We evaluate assignment algorithms for public school admissions using priorities, quotas, and reservations to enhance equality of opportunity.
